Financial Services: Gearing and Ratios
You need to use Orbis database for these. Open Internet Explore, go to the Library Catalogue http://catalogue.londonmet.ac.uk and click on Online Resources, “Find Databases & E-Journals” section, and type in Orbis. Click on the link given to search this database. Once you are logged in, type in a company name, tick the box near the one you require (usually a PLC) and click on the report tab. From the right hand menu, choose ratio. This will give you not only ratio but also gearing, as well as other information.
Miliband and expansion of Europe
NEWSPAPER ARTICLES go to the Library Catalogue and click on Online Resources, then type in Nexis UK . Click on the link given to search this database. Change the date range. N.B Using ! to shorten a word, gives more results e.g Miliband Europ! Expan!.
