Visa applications – maintenance funds for 28 days

From 1st Febraury 2010 student visa applicants must be able to show that they have enough money in their bank account for 28 days minimum.

The transitional arrangement that enabled students to simply show the balance at the end of their bank statements ended on 31st January 2010. If the relevant amount of money has not been in your account for 28 days minimum your visa will be refused.
