Law Commission recruiting research assistants for 2012

The Law Commission annually recruits around 15 high quality law graduates to work as research assistants on a variety of law related projects.  These are presitigious posts and valued by future employers of lawyers.  There is considerable competition for them and the standard is high.

These posts are especially attractive to those who would like to spend a period working in a legal research environment between their university studies and the LPC or BVC or between the academic stage of their professional education and a training contract or pupillage. 

The period of appointment is approximately 51 weeks on a fixed term basis, starting in September 2012.  The current salary is £24, 007.
