ThreeWeeks – summer training scheme for aspiring journalists

The application deadline is fast approaching for aspiring young journalists who are interested in reviewing shows at the Edinburgh Festival this year as part of UnLimited Media’s ThreeWeeks team.

ThreeWeeks is a publication devoted to covering as much of the Scottish arts festival’s output as possible, is a not-for-profit enterprise which we run as a media skills training programme for aspiring writers and artists.

Those twho ake part in the training scheme get the opportunity to see a huge number of shows, to write reviews to a tight deadline, to receive initial training, and to gain ongoing support and feedback during the course of August. This intensive experience is a brilliant introduction to working as a journalist, and is an excellent way for young writers to boost their portfolio of published work and improve the standard of their written work.

The deadline for applications is 3 May.
