 London Metropolitan University Careers Service is proud to announce more opportunities to gain skills and experience through our partnerships with East London Business Alliance (ELBA). Come and talk to a Careers Consultant (www.londonmet.ac.uk/careers) for help completing the application form

ELBA  works with some of the world’s largest corporate firms in finance, law, IT, insurance, Accountancy and more.
Contrary to popular belief, the companies do and will recruit locally. ELBA’s Career
Capital programme will give you a sense of the career
opportunities and help you get on their radar. This series of focused
training and networking events will help you look and feel like the
consummate professional.

What can the programme offer you?
• Equip students with the skills that graduate recruiters and
employers are looking for
• Networking opportunities at major City, Canary Wharf and
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park companies
• Information about the range of jobs available within the company

 What do we need from you?
• You must attend every session
• You must be interested in working in the City / Canary Wharf /
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
• You must study at either London Metropolitan University, Queen
Mary University of London, University of East London, London South
Bank University or City University

The Clubs
IT Club hosted by: Thomson Reuters
Business Club hosted by: RBS, Nomura, Morgan Stanley and Citi
Built Environment Club hosted by: Canary Wharf Group and London Legacy Development Corporation

The sessions
All clubs start on Wednesday 19 February (3-5pm, subject to change) and will run every Wednesday (3-5pm, subject to
change) until 26 March 2014.
