Calling all London Met students and recent graduates

Do you have a business idea to help to reduce London’s CO2 emissions by 60 per cent before 2025? 

Do you want an Internship?

The Mayor of London Low Carbon Entrepreneur 2014 competition has extended its deadline for London Met student applications to 2nd April 2014.    Siemens  are providing prizes of a £20,000 idea development fund and 6 paid internships at their sustainable cities initiative in London.

They are looking for innovative ideas from current students or recent graduates aged 18 or over in the following categories:- 1.      Product design, 2.      Transport in the city, 3.      Materials/reuse and recycling/circular economies, 4.      Behaviour change/networking, 5.      Energy efficiency/capture/generation, 6.      Food/food waste, 7.      Water management, 8.      Other

Deadline for applications is the  2nd April 2014

It is free to enter and there is no limit to the number of ideas any individual or group can submit.  A shortlist will be selected by experts before the winner is picked by our high profile judging panel in a Dragon’s Den style event in May 2014. Throughout the year we’ll be offering training opportunities to potential applicants and any student who signs up to be an ambassador can also compete for two weeks work experience at London City Hall.
