Event for students interested in a career in project management – Monday 14 March

The Association for Project Management is holding a ‘Meet the Project Management Professionals’ evening at Westminster University on Monday 14th March from 18:00 until 20:00.

he event is suitable for students and recent graduates who are interested in a career in project management.

The evening will feature young project managers presenting their top tips on key skills required in the profession and there will be a chance to ask questionsabout their experience and achievements. There will also be a short talk onwhat makes a good Curriculum Vitae (CV) and how you can improve your own from an experienced project manager recruiter.

In the second half of the evening leading project management firms and recruiters will be on hand to offer advice on CV writing and skills sought by employers. Current recruiters include:

If a career in project management isn’t something you had previously considered, this will be your opportunity to meet Project Management Professionals to find out more.

Food will be available and attendees are encouraged to take the opportunity to network with young professionals and likeminded people. The event will count as 2 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

The event is free for all attendees.
