Interacitve careers event for 1st year disabled students

GO – Great Opportunities is a fantastic interactive careers event for bright, ambitious First Year students who have a disability or long-term health condition

This is a cross-industry sector careers event, which has the purpose of:

  • Raising the career aspirations and motivations of young disabled people, many of who do not consider a career with a reputable organisation as a possibility.
  • Educating the students about career paths within different industries and functions.
  • Talking to the students about the support that is available to disabled individuals in the workplace.

This event is free to attend and travel expenses will be reimbursed

LOCATION: Central London
DATE: Friday 24th June 2016
TIME: 10:45 –16:30

ELIGIBILITY: This event is for students who have a disability or long-term healthcondition. This includes a wide range of conditions such as, but not limited to, mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression and bi-polar; mobility conditions; learning disabilities including dyslexia and dyspraxia; sensory impairment, epilepsy, ADHD, speech impairment, diabetes, and degenerative conditions such as cancer and MS.
