Media intern needed

We have received an opportunity from Runwild Media Group, who are looking
for a CAD designer to do a 10 week internship based in Canary Wharf (unpaid,
but with expenses covered).

The job description is below:

Run Wild Media Group Events department has a great opportunity for a Cad designer to gain valuable experience producing CAD plans for forthcoming events.

Position: CAD designer

Days: Monday to Friday  Hours of work: 8.45am to 5.30pm

Location: Canary Wharf Expenses: £200PM

Working with a team of 4, duties will include:

 Creating site plans from the event documents

 Working with the events team to find the best solutions to manage venue spaces

 Final productions of 3D renderings

 Ensure housekeeping of DWG files and CAD folders on the system

 Possible site visitations to assist in site surveying and taking accurate measurements

 Willing to gain an understanding of the events and temporary structures equipment and practices

 To overlay plans onto client provided drawings

 Work as part of the events team on existing events and to create new, unique events

 Liaise with drawing teams from 3rd party contractors, creating direct working relationships

Personal specification:

 Good maths and IT skills

 Good communication skills

 Ability to work as part of a team

 Ability to meet deadlines

 Creative ability

 Experience/knowledge of using CAD
