Making Creativity Work – Free training inside one of the world’s biggest media businesses

‘Making Creativity Work’ is a free training initiative funded by the European Social Fund and delivered by The Academy, home to over 90 magazine and 80 radio brands in the UK including Grazia, Empire and Absolute Radio.

‘Making Creativity Work’ provides unemployed people aged 19+ with work-based learning, support and mentoring that will guide them into diverse range of creative careers. These include, but are not limited to, journalism, content creation, sales, digital, radio production, programming and presenting.

Participants will be exposed to leading creative professionals and academics and they’ll be offered connections to future job opportunities and Apprenticeships, including Bauer Media’s own talent development programme. Making Creativity Work will also allow participants to get their coursework and portfolios in front of industry experts for invaluable feedback and advice.

Making Creativity Work takes place in London this summer and each flexible course lasts between two and four weeks, depending on the needs and aspirations of each learner.
