Talk on economics and economist careers at the Competition and Markets Authority – Monday 4th December 5.15 pm
Why: Stop pharmaceutical companies from ripping off the NHS; make sure that price comparison websites promote competition fairly; decide whether huge companies will be allowed to buy other huge companies; bust cartels. As an economist, a career at the CMA will be challenging, varied, and full of proper economics. You’ll be fighting for the good guys, alongside colleagues who are seriously talented, and fun.
What: A short presentation on economics and economist careers at the CMA, followed by a chance to chat with CMA economists about their experiences of applying to and working at the CMA
Where: Central London, at the Competition and Markets Authority, Victoria House, 37 Southampton Row, WC1B 4AD
When: Monday 4th December, 5.15pm
