Assessment Centres Workshops – Wednesday December 6 and Tuesday December 12

Assessment Centres Demystified

On Wednesday December 6 and Tuesday December 12, Civil Service Fast Stream is coming in to run practical sessions on how to manage assessment centres. This will be of interest to all students, but particularly those who are applying for graduate jobs or for internships.

December 6 – find out about what is involved in the different stages of an assessment centre. How can you prepare for group activities, written exercises, presentations or competency based exercises? What are employers looking for and how are you being ‘scored’?

For further information and to book please go to
December 12 - Group exercises and how to engage with them. Try your hand at actual exercises that are used as part of the graduate recruitment process and learn from the experience. This is a bit of a daunting experience and you will have to think on your feet, but it will be of great benefit in your preparation for your future applications.
You can attend one or both of these sessions as they complement each other but are also stand alone.

We hope very much to see you at one or both of the events and would be happy to answer any questions you might have in the meantime. Do please feel free to book an appointment to see a Careers Consultant if you would like to discuss this or any other Careers and Employability related matters.
