What is the Waltham Petcare Science Institute?

Waltham is  the largest research and development site for Mars Petcare. As the global science hub, our work focuses on the nutritional and behavioral needs of dogs, cats, fish and horses, as well as on preventive health. We employ a whole range of people from microbiologists, chemists, animal trainers, data scientists and much more! Located in rural Leicestershire (near Melton Mowbray), we use the knowledge we generate through science to support the development of innovative products and services. These can be launched through the Mars Petcare family to deliver our Purpose: A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS.
