Black Mountains College is organising a free online event in which a diverse range of professionals discuss how climate change might affect the future of their sector, and how young people can plan for their career.
This is notably not a ‘green’ careers fair discussing jobs specifically in the environmental sector. This is a careers event focussed on how the climate and ecological emergency is going to affect all jobs in all sectors; and what skills young people need in order to navigate these changes successfully.
After a keynote of Clover Hogan, participants will be able to choose to attend one of the following break-outs, exploring the Future of:
Education
Art
Construction
Architecture
Healthcare
Finance
Fashion
Writing & Journalism
Law & Justice
Energy & Infrastructure
Food & Agriculture
Water
Each break-out will be lead by extremely knowledgeable, experienced and in many cases award-winning professionals.
The event takes place on Saturday the 30th of April
