Women and the arts source notes

Art, Architecture and Design students may not have heard about the The Women’s Library. It is part of the LondonMet Library service and can be found in Old Castle Street, right next to Calcutta House.

Here is something to whet your appetite for the fascinating collections at the Women’s Library. A series of source notes have been produced and the subjects include material related to the visual arts, for example;
women and architecture, planning and interior design

women and media

The Women’s Library holds a wide range of primary source material and the Musuems, Libraries and Archives Council have designated collections “of outstanding national and international importance”.
