Photography and installation at Commercial Road Library Gallery Space.
Héloïse Bergman uses photography, video and installation to examine the beliefs and behavioral patterns that shape our society. She is particularly interested in propaganda and censorship and how they respectively shape and rewrite history.
Bergman’s current work focuses on smoking, as it questions the flickering line that separates advertising from propaganda and probes the subconscious currents that define our actions and reactions.
