The Design and Applied Arts Index, or DAAI for short, is an excellent resource for locating articles for design students in CASS.
It helps locate articles with more than 212,000 entries, and around 1200 new records added monthly, it is the leading source of abstracts, bibliographic records for articles, and book reviews published in design and applied arts journals from 1973 onwards.
There is a useful facility called My Research that you can use to save your searches and create email alerts and RSS feeds to notify you when new abstracts relating to areas of interest are added.
Subjects covered include advertising, animation, architecture, computer-aided design, craft, fashion, furniture design, graphic design, illustration, interior design, jewellery, materials, metalsmithing, packaging, product design, sustainable design, and textiles.
You can can access the DAAI via the
Classic library catalogue
