Starting this Saturday, 21st October, Iniva’s Stuart Hall Library will be open on Saturdays between 12pm-6pm.
If you haven’t visited The Stuart Hall Library before, it is only around the corner from Aldgate Library, (1 Rivington Place in Shoreditch) and is a fantastic resource with a wide variety of exhibition catalogues, books, magazines, journals and zines which cover contemporary visual art practice and research. The collection focuses on race, class and gender, and artists of African, Asian and Latin American heritage. It is part of iniva (Institute of International Visual Arts), a radical visual arts organisation with an innovative artistic programme of events that reflect the social and political impacts of globalization.
This Saturday there will be drop in guided tours of the library every hour on the hour, from 1pm, no need to book. More information here.
